I am suppoting gay marrige and believe that everyone should be able to be in love and then be able to get married. There is no difference in gay, straight, or crooked! As a human being and being educated about my history, i find it to be similar to racism and i am against that. So therefore i am standing strong on supporting gay marrige.

ENRIQUES JOURNEY
I read the book and attended the discussion. I can also recomened the book to anyone with good sense, it was breath taking, and emotionally intense at the same time. Although at the end of the story the son repeats the same heartbreaking situation the mother went through by also leaving his daughter behind, while he starts a new life. During the discussion I wanted to mention that even though Enrique left his daughter behind, there was one thing I caught on to. I was shocked to relize that her daughter learned from her mistakes, went to school and had a little boy and did not want to leave him behind in order to come to the states. She stayed behind and tryed to make things better for her family with loving support. I enjopyed this book more then I thought I would and here I stated my response about this amazing book.

THE POSADA
Las Posadas is a nine day celebration that starts December 16, through December 24,and is also reffered to the noche buena. This symbolizes the trials, which they believe Mary and Joseph endured while finding a place to stay, and were Jesus could be born. During a posada every home will have a nativity scene, and the host of the posada will play the roll of the innkeepers. The pilgrims request a posada (lodging) by singing a traditional song about the pilgrims. They carry small lite candles in there hand. They will ask for lodging, in three different houses, but only the third one will let them in.That third house will be were the posada will be held. In the house the guest will kneel down and pray. This is followed by the singing of traditional Christmas song and a party for the children.
